Researchers who often do experiments know that organic synthesis is a process of preparing more complex target molecules from simple raw materials through one or more chemical reactions. Generally, it requires fewer steps,and cheap raw materials. 42514-50-1, name is 3-Amino-3-methylbutan-1-ol. vTn a glass RBF equipped with a Teflon-coated magnetic stirrer was combined 4-fluoro-1,2-dinitrobenzene (1 eq.), 3- amino-3-methylbutan-1-ol (1 eq.) and ethyl diisopropyl amine (1.5 eq.) in DMSO (0.5 M). The resulting mixture was then heated at 100C for 24 h. The reaction mixture was then diluted with water and extracted with EtOAc. The combined organic extracts were washed further with water and brine, dried over MgSO4, filtered and the filtrate concentrated in vacuo. Further purification of the crude product thus obtained by way of column chromatography (Si02, gradient elution, 9:1 (v/v) Hex: EtOAc – EtOAc) furnished the desired product (22% yield).
