The proposed mechanism proceeds through a benzyne intermediate.

Operative time, bleeding in operation, postpartum hemorrhage, postpartum hemorrhage incidence, postpartum lochia duration time, postpartum anemia incidence and other conditions of delivery women in two groups were observed There were effective 95 cases and ineffective 5 cases in the observation group, the total effective rate was 95%; there were effective 89 cases and ineffective 13 cases in the control group, the total efficiency was 87%; there was a significant difference in clin. efficacy of two groups (P<0.05). The average operation time and average bleeding amount of the observation group were 37.86 min, and 300.35 mL; the average operation time and average bleeding amount of the control group were 48.19min and 415.66mL; and there were significant differences between two groups (P<0.05). A novel ferrocene-contained pyrrole, 4-(1H-pyrrol-1-yl)-Ph-ferrocenecarboxylate (FcPy) was synthesized by esterification of 4-(1H-pyrrol-1-yl)-phenol (PLPY) and ferrocenecarboxylic acid. Then the homopolymer of FcPy (PFcPy), copolymer of FcPy and pyrrole (P(FcPy-co-Py)), polypyrrole (PPy) were prepared by chem. oxidative polymerization And the structure, morphol., electrochem. properties of prepared polymers were characterized by FTIR spectroscopy, SEM, cyclic voltammograms (CV) and electrochem. impedance spectra (EIS), resp. The introduction of ferrocene to polypyrrole obviously improved the specific capacity of PPy cathode and gave a well-defined plateau at the potential rang of ∼3.5 V. Under the authors’ exptl. conditions, the discharge capacity of undoped PPy-based electrodes only presented 16.5 mAh g-1 at 20 mA g-1 between 2.5 and 4.2 V, while PFcPy-based electrodes exhibited an initial discharge capacity of up to 43.2 mAh g-1. Specially, the P(FcPy-co-Py)-based electrodes even showed a discharge capacity of 68.1 mAh g-1 and the improved discharge platform, which were ascribed to the resonance doping effect of pendant group, the advanced electrochem. nature of ferrocene moiety and the loose morphol. of copolymer.

Selective cleavage and functionalization of C-C bonds have important applications in organic synthesis and biomass use. However, functionalization of C-C bonds by controlled cleavage remains difficult and challenging because they are inert. Herein, the authors describe an unprecedented efficient protocol for the breaking of successive C-C bonds in alcs. to form esters with one or multiple carbon atoms less using heterogeneous cobalt nanoparticles as catalyst with dioxygen as the oxidant. A wide range of alcs. including inactive long-chain alkyl aryl alcs. undergo smoothly successive cleavage of adjacent -(C-C)n– bonds to afford the corresponding esters. The catalyst was used for seven times without any decrease in activity. Characterization and control experiments disclose that cobalt nanoparticles are responsible for the successive cleavage of C-C bonds to achieve excellent catalytic activity, while the presence of Co-Nx has just the opposite effect. Preliminary mechanistic studies reveal that a tandem sequence reaction is involved in this process.

A noble-metal-free Co-based catalyst, derived from pyrolysis of natural vitamin B12 on activated carbon, is developed for the first time for one-pot oxidative cleavage of lignin linkages to phenols and aromatic esters with mol. oxygen as the oxidant under mild reaction conditions. High yields of phenol were obtained, and no oxidative coupling of phenol was produced based on the present cobalt catalyst. Compared to the previous report, the present catalyst can achieve the oxidative cleavage of β-O-4 ketones even at room temperature using a dioxygen balloon. The heterogeneous catalyst shows robust recyclability and can be conveniently recovered and reused up to eight times without an appreciable loss of catalytic activity. Moreover, this catalyst system can realize the bond cleavage of organosolv lignin. The evidence of depolymerization was given by two-dimensional heteronuclear single quantum coherence NMR and gel permeation chromatog. Characterization of the catalyst by inductively coupled plasma, N2 adsorption-desorption, Raman spectroscopy, SEM, transmission electron microscopy (TEM), high-resolution TEM, high-angle angular dark-field scanning TEM, energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy, XPS, and control experiments provide a fundamental understanding of the catalytic materials and the reaction pathway. Co3O4 in situ supported on a N-doped carbon matrix by the way of high-temperature pyrolysis might be a catalytically active species. Two reaction intermediates are detected and confirmed by gas chromatograph-mass spectrometry.

The study aimed to investigate potential mechanisms for the anti-hypertensive effects of RVPSL on spontaneously hypertensive rats (SHRs) using a non-targeted metabonomic approach. In this study, UPLC/MS-based non-targeted metabolomics was performed to discover metabolite variation of serum in SHRs with RVPSL treatment. As a result, the serum metabolites of SHRs that were administered RVPSL for four weeks exhibited distinct alterations. Nine potential biomarkers, i.e., choline, adenosine, adrenic acid, L-tryptophan, niacinamide, glycocholic acid, propiolic acid, D-glyceraldehyde 3-phosphate, and phosphoglycolic acid, were significantly altered, which were mainly involved in lipid metabolism, vitamin and amino acid metabolism, purine metabolism, the MAPK signaling pathway, and the renin-angiotensin system. This study suggested that RVPSL potentially exerted potent effects of alleviating hypertension in the SHRs mainly via integrated regulations of metabolism and production of choline, L-tryptophan, nicotinamide, and adenosine.
