This probe promotes enzyme efficiency by altering the substrate catalytic process and enhances the electron transfer efficiency through an intra-mol. pathway with increased activity. The enzyme content and fluorescence intensity showed a linear relationship and equilibrium was obtained in seconds, showing potential for early tumor diagnosis, biomimetic catalysis, and prodrug activation.

Three minutes before intrauterine infusion of carprost tromethamine, group C received i.v. infusion of normal saline, group A received i.v. infusion of penehyclidine hydrochloride 0.5 mg, and group B received i.v. infusion of penehyclidine hydrochloride 1 mg. Result: The incidence of adverse reactions in group A and group B was lower than that in group C, and there was no difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between group A and group B. The levels of motilin and angiotensin in group A and group B were significantly lower than those in group C. Conclusion: Penehyclidine hydrochloride can reduce the clin. adverse reactions of carprost tromethamine. The gastrointestinal adverse reactions may be inhibited by reducing motilin while the cardiovascular adverse reactions may be inhibited by reducing angiotensin II.

Ambient pressure hydro-deoxygenation (HDO) of the phenolic-rich pyrolysis liquid fraction is a complex task due to the presence multiple phenolic compounds and light oxygenates. The phenolic-rich fraction differs from the overall pyrolysis liquid, known to be prone to re-polymerization and coking in the reactor or of the catalyst. In the present research, hydro-deoxygenation of oxygen-containing compounds in the phenolic fraction over Mo-based catalysts was carried out for the first time. It was found that Mo-based catalysts can successfully upgrade the phenolics into aromatics, the conversion rate was nearly 100%. The small amount of light oxygenates in the phenolic-rich fraction had no obvious effect on the hydro-deoxygenation reaction, the phenolic conversion was more than 95%. After assessing the performance for a representative phenolic model compound, the reaction was also successfully carried out on the phenolic fraction of the real pyrolysis liquid It can be concluded that the catalysts can also be used for the HDO of the real pyrolysis liquid fraction at atm. pressure.

Pediatric drug-induced anaphylaxis cases collected by the Beijing Pharmacovigilance Database from 2004 to 2014 were analyzed. A total of 91 cases were identified. Drug-induced anaphylaxis was primarily caused by antibiotics (53%). Children of 0-5 years were more likely to develop cyanosis symptoms than children of 13-17 years (OR = 5.14, 95%CI [1.74, 15.20], P = 0.002). Children of 13-17 years were more likely to develop hypotension than children of 6-12 years (OR = 11.79, 95%CI [2.28, 60.87], P = 0.002), and to manifest both neurol. symptoms (OR = 3.56, 95%CI [1.26, 10.08], P = 0.015) and severe anaphylaxis than children of 0-5 years (OR = 15.46, 95%CI [1.85, 129.33], P = 0.002). Supratherapeutic doses of epinephrine were more likely with i.v. (IV) bolus (92%) in contrast to either i.m. (IM) (36%, OR = 19.25, 95% CI [1.77, 209.55], P = 0.009) or s.c. (SC) injections (36%, OR = 19.80, 95% CI [1.94, 201.63], P = 0.005). Only 62 (68%) patients received epinephrine treatment as the first-line therapy. This study demonstrates that antibiotics were the most common cause of pediatric drug-induced anaphylaxis. Children may present with different anaphylactic signs/symptoms based on age groups. Epinephrine is under-utilized and provider education on the proper management of drug-induced anaphylaxis is warranted. The most common cause of anaphylaxis in children is allergies to foods, while the second most common cause of pediatric anaphylaxis is drugs. IM epinephrine is the recommended initial treatment of anaphylaxis. Drug-induced anaphylaxis in pediatric patients has age-related clin. features. IV bolus epinephrine was overused and associated with supratherapeutic dosing.

At present, chemo- and radiotherapies remain to be the mainstream methods for treating triple-neg. breast cancer (TNBC), which is known for poor prognosis and high rate of mortality. Two types of novel dual-targeting TNBC liposomes (Fru-RGD-Lip and Fru+RGD-Lip) that actively recognize both fructose transporter GLUT5 and integrin αvβ3 were designed and prepared in this work. Firstly, a Y-shaped Fru-RGD-chol ligand, where a fructose and peptide Arg-Gly-Asp (RGD) were covalently attached to cholesterol, was designed and synthesized. Then, the Fru-RGD-Lip was constructed by inserting Fru-RGD-chol into liposomes, while Fru+RGD-Lip was obtained by inserting both Fru-chol and RGD-chol (with the molar ratio of 1:1) into liposomes. The particle size, zeta potential, encapsulation efficiency and serum stability of the paclitaxel-loaded liposomes were characterized. The results indicated that the paclitaxel-loaded Fru-RGD-Lip had the strongest growth inhibition against GLUT5 and αvβ3 overexpressed MDA-MB-231 and 4T1 cells. The cellular uptake of Fru-RGD-Lip on MDA-MB-231 cells and 4T1 cells was 3.19- and 3.23-fold more than that of the uncoated liposomes (Lip). The uptake of Fru+RGD-Lip was slightly lower, giving a 2.81- and 2.90-fold increase than that of Lip in two cell lines, resp. The mechanism study demonstrated that the cellular uptake of both dual-targeting liposomes was likely to be recognized and mediated by GLUT5 and αvβ3 firstly, then endocytosed through comprehensive pathways in an energy-dependent manner. Moreover, Fru-RGD-Lip displayed the maximum accumulation, which was 2.62-fold higher than that of Lip for instance, at the tumor sites compared to other liposomes using in vivo imaging. Collectively, the liposomes co-modified by fructose and RGD have enormous potential in the development of targeted TNBC treatment, especially the covalently modified Fru-RGD-Lip, making it a promising multifunctional liposome.

The results showed that 117 flavor components in scallop before sterilization and 119 ones in scallop after sterilization, resp. In the instant scallop before sterilization, the content of alcs., aldehydes, esters, ketones, acids, aromatic series, furans, phenols, hydrocarbon and others content was 3.21%, 4.78%, 2.06%, 0.47%, 0.25%, 8.38%, 0.03%, 0.72%, 32.58% and 47.52%, the number was 7, 9, 9, 4, 2, 22, 1, 1, 33 and 29, resp. In the instant scallop after sterilization, the content of alcs., aldehydes, esters, ketones, acids, aromatic series, furans, phenols, hydrocarbon and others content was 2.85%, 4.48%, 11.54%, 0.90%, 0.49%, 7.81%, 0.86%, 0.55%, 28.20% and 42.32%, the number was 9, 11, 11, 6, 5, 15, 5, 3, 32 and 22, resp., 67 ingredients species were the same in before and after sterilization scallop. The contents of aroma components of instant scallops after sterilization esters and furans were significantly more than that before sterilization. Thus sterilization process on the aroma components of instant scallop had a role in the retention and aroma, making instant scallop seafood was more dense fragrance, aroma coordination.

Loose nanofiltration membranes show great potential to realize the effective separation of dyes and salts but still show low capacity for treating textile wastewater due to low membrane flux. In this work, a high-flux hollow fiber nanofiltration membrane (HFNFM) for the separation of dyes and salts was fabricated through a simple one-step non-solvent induced phase separation (NIPS) method. A carboxylated polyethersulfone (PES-COOH) was synthesized by the polycondensation based on Williamson reaction using diallyl bisphenol sulfur as a commoner followed by the thio-ene reaction with thioglycolic acid. Then PES-COOH was blended with polysulfone (PSF) for hollow fiber spinning based on the NIPS method. The effects of the ratio of PSF to PES-COOH on the membrane structure and performance were studied with scanning electron microscope (SEM), differential scanning calorimetry (DSC), X-ray photoelectron spectrometer (XPS), water contact angle and zeta potential measurements. Upon optimization, the PSF/PES-COOH HFNFM displayed a water flux of 159.6 L m-2 h-1 bar-1, and a rejection of 99.2% for Congo red at a dye concentration of 100 mg/L and operating pressure of 0.1 MPa. With the effective dye-salt fractionation which was comparative to literature reports, the membrane showed unprecedentedly high flux, which can be attributed to the double layer finger-like structure and hydrophilic PES-COOH as additives. The membrane also presented excellent stability and antifouling property during the treatment of simulated textile wastewater.
