Journal of assisted reproduction and genetics published new progress about 501-36-0 . 501-36-0 belongs to class alcohols-buliding-blocks, and the molecular formula is C14H12O3, Category: alcohols-buliding-blocks.

Bahramrezaie, Mojdeh; Amidi, Fardin; Aleyasin, Ashraf; Saremi, AboTaleb; Aghahoseini, Marzieh; Brenjian, Samaneh; Khodarahmian, Mahshad; Pooladi, Arash published the artcile< Effects of resveratrol on VEGF & HIF1 genes expression in granulosa cells in the angiogenesis pathway and laboratory parameters of polycystic ovary syndrome: a triple-blind randomized clinical trial.>, Category: alcohols-buliding-blocks, the main research area is HIF1 gene; Hormones; Intracytoplasmic sperm injection; Polycystic ovary syndrome; Resveratrol; VEGF gene.

OBJECTIVES: Management options for PCOS, as the most prevalent endocrine disorder in women of reproductive age, using natural supplements have a high priority for physicians, especially based on the etiological pathways. Therefore, this study was conducted to describe the effect of resveratrol on the angiogenesis pathway, for management of PCOS through assessing VEGF, HIF1 gene expression, and laboratory parameters. METHODS: In this triple-blind RCT, PCOS was confirmed in ICSI candidates based on the Rotterdam criteria. Sixty-two patients that met the inclusion criteria were randomly assigned to two groups. All patients took resveratrol 800 mg/day or placebo for 40 days orally from the beginning of their previous menstruation cycle until the oocyte retrieval day. The serum levels of different hormones were measured, and the expression of HIF1 & VEGF genes was quantified by real-time PCR. RESULTS: As for the laboratory hormone assay in 61 PCOS patients, a significant mean difference was seen in the FSH, LH, TSH, and testosterone between the two groups (P < 0.05). The results showed a reduction in the expression of VEGF & HIF1 genes under the effect of resveratrol in the granulosa cells (P = 0.0001). The number of mature oocytes, cleavage rate, fertilization rate, and fertility rate were not significantly different between the two groups (P > 0.05), but the high-quality oocyte rate and high-quality embryo rate were higher in the resveratrol group (P < 0.05). CONCLUSIONS: Based on the results, resveratrol may improve some outcomes of PCOS patients, probably through changing the serum levels of some sex hormones and expression of VEGF & HIF1 genes in the angiogenesis pathway of granulosa cells. Journal of assisted reproduction and genetics published new progress about 501-36-0 . 501-36-0 belongs to class alcohols-buliding-blocks, and the molecular formula is C14H12O3, Category: alcohols-buliding-blocks.

Acta Biochimica et Biophysica Sinica published new progress about Apoptosis. 1492-18-8 belongs to class alcohols-buliding-blocks, and the molecular formula is C20H21CaN7O7, Safety of Calcium folinate.

Tian, Ning; Ma, Wanyun published the artcile< Antidotal effects of calcium folinate against high-dose methotrexate-induced damages to mouse matured oocytes>, Safety of Calcium folinate, the main research area is calcium folinate methotrexate matured oocyte damage antidotal effect.

Methotrexate (MTX) is a common folate antagonist and it blocks the dihydrofolate reductase, thereby causing tetrahydrofolate for mation disorder. Tetrahydrofolate is the active folate form and its related metabolic products are required for DNA synthesis and DNA methylation modification. The effects of MTX have been demonstrated by DNA methylation aberrations, DNA damage, and DNA synthesis obstruction, causing cell replication disorder and apoptosis. Calcium folinate (CF), a calcium salt of leucovorin, can easily be converted into tetrahydrofolate without dihydrofolate reductase involvement. CF supplement alleviates MTX-induced reduction in active folates and thus complements Me donor and the required components of DNA synthesis, Nevertheless, MTX also causes changes in proteins and their functions besides DNA-related side effects.

This work establishes that two independent catalytic cycles (H+ and I-/I+) drive such multicomponent cyclocondensation/ oxidation reactions, provided that the oxidant is generated in sufficient concentration to inhibit oxidation of the dihydroquinoline by the intermediate iminium cation. The complementary dual catalytic cycles, when optimized, act in concert to suppress side product formation, which simplifies isolation and purification of the self-aggregating products and increases the efficiency and scope of the Wang-Kozlov multicomponent reaction.

Larina, Olga V.; Valihura, Karina V.; Kyriienko, Pavlo I.; Vlasenko, Nina V.; Balakin, Dmytro Yu.; Khalakhan, Ivan; Cendak, Tomaz; Soloviev, Sergiy O.; Orlyk, Svitlana M. published the artcile< Successive vapour phase Guerbet condensation of ethanol and 1-butanol over Mg-Al oxide catalysts in a flow reactor>, HPLC of Formula: 104-76-7, the main research area is ethanol butanol Guerbet condensation magnesium aluminum oxide hydrotalcite catalyst.

The successive vapor phase condensation of ethanol and 1-butanol (via Guerbet reaction) in a flow reactor under atm. pressure was studied over catalytic Mg-Al oxide compositions Wherein the vapor phase condensation of 1-butanol to 2-ethyl-1-hexanol in flow has been investigated for the first time. The acid/base capacity ratio, which is determined by the Mg/Al ratio, is an important characteristic for the activity and selectivity of Mg-Al oxide catalysts in the abovementioned processes. The carbon chain length of the reacting alcs., an arrangement of surface active sites and other steric factors also have an impact on Guerbet condensation in the vapor phase. High productivity of Mg-Al oxide system to the Guerbet alcs.: 1-butanol – 25 g/(Lcat·h), 2-ethyl-1-hexanol – 19 g/(Lcat·h), has been achieved. The results have shown a prospect of successive conversion realization: (1) ethanol → 1-butanol; (2) 1-butanol → 2-ethyl-1-hexanol for the production of 2-ethyl-1-hexanol from ethanol.

Enantioselective cobalt-catalyzed one-pot hydrosilylation and hydroboration of terminal alkynes has been developed employing a cobalt catalyst generated from Co(acac)2 and (R,R)-Me-Ferrocelane. A variety of terminal alkynes undergo this asym. transformation, affording the corresponding gem-(borylsilyl)alkane products with high enantioselectivity (up to 98% ee). This one-pot reaction combines (E)-selective hydrosilylation of alkynes and consecutive enantioselective hydroboration of (E)-vinylsilanes with one chiral cobalt catalyst. This protocol represents the most straightforward approach to access versatile chiral gem-(borylsilyl)alkanes from readily available alkynes with com. available cobalt salt and chiral ligand.

Polzonetti, Valeria; Pucciarelli, Stefania; Chambrier, Cecile; Lauverjat, Madeleine published the artcile< Dietary intake of Vitamin D from dairy products reduces the risk of osteoporosis>, COA of Formula: C27H44O, the main research area is review dietary intake vitamin D dairy product osteoporosis; bone mass; calcium; dairy foods; fortified foods; osteoporosis; vitamin D.

A review. Background: Vitamin D and calcium are important dietary compounds that affect bone mass, even if other minerals (potassium, zinc, etc.) and vitamins (A, C and K) are also involved. Vitamin D and certain minerals, in fact, play an important role in calcium homeostasis and calcium absorption. Hip fracture incidence is higher in Europe and the United States, where calcium is frequently included in the human diet; while the occurrence of these fractures is lower in developing countries, where diets are often poor in calcium. This condition is named the “”calcium paradox””, and may be partially explained by phosphate toxicity, which can neg. affect mineral metabolism It is important to maintain correct dietary calcium-phosphate balance in order to have a healthy life, reducing the risk of osteoporotic fractures in older people. Vitamin D can also act as a hormone; vitamin D2 (ergocalciferol) is derived from the UV-B radiation of ergosterol, the natural vitamin D precursor detected in plants, fungi, and invertebrates. Vitamin D3 (cholecalciferol) is synthesized by sunlight exposure from 7-dehydrocholesterol, a precursor of cholesterol that can also act as provitamin D3. Dietary intake of vitamin D3 is essential when the skin is exposed for short periods to UV B light (UV-B), a category of invisible light rays such as UV-A and UV-C. This can be considered the usual situation in northern latitudes during the winter season, or the typical lifestyle for older people and/or for people with very white delicate skin. The actual recommended daily intake of dietary vitamin D is strictly correlated with age, ranging from 5μg for infants, children, teenagers, and adults-including pregnant and lactating women-to 15μg for people over 65 years.

A new organosilane precursor was designed via Vilsmeier-Haack formylation of phloroglucinol followed by its Schiff base condensation with (3-aminopropyl)triethoxysilane (APTES). A novel organic-inorganic hybrid periodic mesoporous organosilica (PMO) LHMS-3 containing the highly coordinating bis(propyliminomethyl)phloroglucinol moiety inside the pore wall was synthesized by using this precursor organosilane mol. Phenolic-OH and imine-N donor sites present in this PMO material were used to anchor Pd(II) species at the surface of the mesopores. Small angle neutron scattering, XRD, HR TEM, SEM, 13C and 29Si solid state MAS NMR, UV-visible and FTIR spectroscopic tools were used to characterize the 2-dimensional-hexagonal mesophase and the presence of the bis(propyliminomethyl)phloroglucinol moiety inside the pore wall. This Pd-anchored material Pd-LHMS-3 showed excellent catalytic activity and trans-selectivity in Heck C-C bond formation reactions for the synthesis of value-added aromatic and aliphatic olefins.
