The article contains the following contents:

Bio-asphalt is a binder composed of bio-oil and petroleum asphalt under certain conditions. In this study, sludge bio-oil (wt 10%) was added into matrix asphalt to prepare sludge bio-asphalt for the first time. The effects of sludge bio-oil on asphalt performance and the essence of interaction between components were investigated using performance test, mol. dynamics (MD) simulation, and d. functional theory (DFT). Chem. anal. showed that the ester compound containing ester functional group (-COOH) was the main component of sludge bio-oil. Phys. and rheol. tests were performed to examine whether the properties of sludge bio-asphalt could be improved. The results found that sludge bio-oil can be used to soften the hard asphalt. Furthermore, the existence of bio-oil reduced complex modulus G* of master curves and stiffness, also increased Jnr and m-value, which means that sludge bio-oil had a pos. effect on the low-temperature thermal cracking resistance performance while sacrificing the high-temperature rutting resistance performance to some extent. Fourier IR spectroscopy (FTIR) and fluorescence spectrum (FM) anal. indicated that sludge bio-oil evenly dispersed in the asphalt, and the bio-asphalt structure resembled that of the conventional binder. The results of MD simulation further showed that O atom of -COOH and H atom in the asphalt mols. formed hydrogen bond (O-H···O, O-H···C) interaction. This changed originally existed conformational packing of agglomeration and further prevented the agglomeration of component mols. In addition, the anal. of cohesive energy d. (CED) and solubility parameters (SP) revealed that sludge bio-oil significantly influenced the compatibility of asphaltene-asphaltene, resin-resin, and asphaltene-resin components. These, in turn, may explain some of the observed improvements in rheol. properties.2,2-Methylenebis(6-tert-butyl-p-cresol) (cas: 119-47-1) were involved in the experimental procedure.

Hirpara, Darshna G.;Gajera, Harsukh P.;Savaliya, Disha D.;Bhadani, Rushita V. published 《Characterization and bioefficacy of green nanosilver particles derived from fungicide-tolerant Tricho-fusant for efficient biocontrol of stem rot (Sclerotium rolfsii Sacc.) in groundnut (Arachis hypogaea L.)》. The research results were published in《Journal of Microbiology (Seoul, Republic of Korea)》 in 2021.Recommanded Product: 579-43-1 The article conveys some information:

An efficient and eco-friendly bioefficacy of potent Tricho-fusant (Fu21) and its green nanosilver formulation against stem rot (Sclerotium rolfsii) in groundnut was established. Fu21 demonstrated higher in-vitro growth inhibition of pathogen with better fungicide tolerance than the parental strains. The green nanosilver particles were synthesized from the extracellular metabolites of Fu21 and characterized for shape (spherical, 59.34 nm in scanning electron microscope), purity (3.00 KeV, energy dispersive X-ray anal.), size (54.3 nm in particle size analyzer), and stability (53.7 mv, zeta). The field efficacy study exhibited that the seedling emergence was high in seeds treated with green nanosilver (min. inhibitory concentration-[MIC] 20 μg Ag/mL), and a low disease severity index of stem rot during the crop growth was followed by the live antagonist (Fu21) in addition to seed treatment with a fungicide mix under pathogen infestation. The seed quality anal. of harvested pods revealed a high oil content with balanced fatty acid composition (3.10 oleic/linoleic acid ratio) in green nanosilver treatment under pathogen infestation. The residual anal. suggested that green nanosilver applied at the MIC level as seed treatment yielded similar effects as the control for silver residue in the harvested groundnut seeds. The green nanosilver at MIC has a high pod-yield under S. rolfsii infestation, demonstrating green chem. and sustainability of the nanoproduct.rel-(1R,2S)-1,2-Diphenylethane-1,2-diol (cas: 579-43-1) were involved in the experimental procedure.

The research results were published in《Diamond and Related Materials》 in 2022.Computed Properties of C14H22O The article conveys some information:

Pyrolytic tire (PT) chars were first produced from waste car tires (WCT) through carbonization process at 800 °C, for different retention times. Then, best PT-char sample by its physicochem. properties (WCT 800(1 h)) was further tested for its ability to adsorb Rhodamine B (RhB) dye from aqueous solutions Structural characterization of synthesized material showed existence of graphene-based material, with average pore diameter of 22.8 nm and sp. surface area of 55.8 m2·g-1. Obtained carbon material meets specifications of com. carbon black (CB). The yield of 33.6% of CB recovered has been achieved. Under the optimal conditions, 99.57% of RhB was removed. Adsorption of RhB obeys pseudo second-order model and Langmuir isotherm model. DFT (the d. functional theory) was revealed that effective bonding of RhB onto WCT 800 originates from π-electron interactions with aromatic moieties and chem. (or at least the electrostatic) interactions, between pos. nitrogen and electron-rich surface groups. The experimental procedure involved many compounds, such as 4-tert-Octylphenol (cas: 140-66-9) .

Application of C20H34O, Geranylgeraniol is a diterpenoid that is hexadeca-2,6,10,14-tetraene substituted by methyl groups at positions 3, 7, 11 and 15 and a hydroxy group at position 1. It has a role as a plant metabolite, a volatile oil component and an antileishmanial agent. It is a diterpenoid and a polyprenol.

Geranylgeraniol, a precursor to geranylgeranylpyrophosphate, is an intermediate in the mevalonate pathway. When working with statins, Geranylgeraniol can reduce the toxicity without inhibiting the cholesterol-producing effects. Geranylgeraniol has been documented to counteract the effects of fluvastatin by inhibiting activation of caspase-1 and production of IL-1. Sanvee, Gerda M.;Hitzfeld, Leonie;Bouitbir, Jamal;Krahenbuhl, Stephan research published 《 Article on mTORC2 is an important target for simvastatin-associated toxicity in C2C12 cells and mouse skeletal muscle – Roles of Rap1 geranylgeranylation and mitochondrial dysfunction》, the research content is summarized as follows. Statins decrease the serum LDL-cholesterol concentration and reduce the risk for cardiovascular diseases but can cause myopathy, which may be related to mTORC inhibition. In the current study, we investigated which mTORC is inhibited by simvastatin and by which mechanisms. In C2C12 myoblasts and myotubes and mouse gastrocnemius, simvastatin was cytotoxic and inhibited S6rp and Akt Ser473 phosphorylation, indicating inhibition of mTORC1 and mTORC2, resp. In contrast to simvastatin, the mTORC1 inhibitor rapamycin did not inhibit mTORC2 activity and was not cytotoxic. Like simvastatin, knock-down of Rictor, an essential component of mTORC2, impaired Akt Ser473 and S6rp phosphorylation and was cytotoxic for C2C12 myoblasts, suggesting that mTORC2 inhibition is an important myotoxic mechanism. The investigation of the mechanism of mTORC2 inhibition showed that simvastatin impaired Ras farnesylation, which was prevented by farnesol but without restoring mTORC2 activity. In comparison, Rap1 knock-down reduced mTORC2 activity and was cytotoxic for C2C12 myoblasts. Simvastatin impaired Rap1 geranylgeranylation and function, which was prevented by geranylgeraniol. In addition, simvastatin and the complex III inhibitor antimycin A caused mitochondrial superoxide accumulation and impaired the activity of mTORC2, which could partially be prevented by the antioxidant MitoTEMPO. In conclusion, mTORC2 inhibition is an important mechanism of simvastatin-induced myotoxicity. Simvastatin inhibits mTORC2 by impairing geranylgeranylation of Rap1 and by inducing mitochondrial dysfunction.

Gamma irradiation degradation of the extensively used muscle relaxant in the world methocarbamol (MET) was studied. MET aqueous solutions were irradiated by gamma rays emitted by a Cobalt 60 source at doses of 1-4 kGy. Our findings demonstrated that gamma irradiation degraded more than 98.5% of MET. Absorption spectra anal. revealed that when increased irradiation dose, the absorption bands declined with complete disappearance at 4 kGy dose. Addnl., the most radiolytic degradation rate was recorded at neutral pH, marked by Total Organic Carbon (TOC) removal rate of 98% reflecting the total mineralization of MET at 4 kGy. In-depth spectrophotometric analyses advocated a pseudo-first-order type of MET degradation kinetics. The obtained apparent rate constant value was kapp, MET = (0.02167 ± 0.0006) min-1. Statins reduce cardiovascular complications in patients with high LDL-cholesterol but are associated with myopathy. We compared the toxicity of simvastatin of C2C12 myoblasts and myotubes. Since myoblasts can proliferate and fuse to myotubes, myoblasts can be considered as satellite cells and myotubes as mature muscle fibers. Simvastatin increased plasma membrane permeability and decreased the cellular ATP content in both myoblasts and myotubes, but with a stronger effect on myoblasts. While insulin prevented cytotoxicity up to 8 h after addition of simvastatin to myotubes, prevention in myoblasts required simultaneous addition Mevalonate and geranylgeraniol prevented simvastatin-associated cytotoxicity in both myoblasts and myotubes. Simvastatin impaired the phosphorylation of the insulin receptor (IR β), Akt ser473 and S6rp, and increased phosphorylation of AMPK thr172 in both myotubes and myoblasts, which was prevented by insulin and mevalonate. Simvastatin impaired oxygen consumption and increased superoxide production by myoblasts and myotubes and induced apoptosis via cytochrome c release. In addition, simvastatin impaired proliferation and fusion of myoblasts to myotubes by inhibiting the expression of the nuclear transcription factor MyoD and of the metalloprotease ADAM-12. Decreased expression of the proliferation factor Ki-67 and of ADAM-12 were also observed in gastrocnemius of mice treated with simvastatin. In conclusion, myoblasts were more susceptible to the toxic effects of simvastatin and simvastatin impaired myoblast proliferation and myotube formation. Impaired muscle regeneration may represent a new mechanism of statin myotoxicity.

24034-73-9, Geranylgeraniol is a diterpenoid that is hexadeca-2,6,10,14-tetraene substituted by methyl groups at positions 3, 7, 11 and 15 and a hydroxy group at position 1. It has a role as a plant metabolite, a volatile oil component and an antileishmanial agent. It is a diterpenoid and a polyprenol.

Geranylgeraniol, a precursor to geranylgeranylpyrophosphate, is an intermediate in the mevalonate pathway. Geranylgeraniol has been shown to prevent bone re-absorption, inhibition of osteoclast formation, and kinase activation in vitro. When working with statins, Geranylgeraniol can reduce the toxicity without inhibiting the cholesterol-producing effects. Geranylgeraniol has been documented to counteract the effects of fluvastatin by inhibiting activation of caspase-1 and production of IL-1. Additionally Geranylgeraniol has been found to induce apoptosis in HL-60 cells.
