The photogenerated carbocation is trapped by MeOH in aqueous MeOH. The photobehavior of I is due to the enhanced basicity (as measured by the ionization constant pKR+ of the mol. in S1 relative to that of the ground state (S0). The enhanced electron-donating effect of the ortho atom of I in the excited singlet state is responsible for this effect.

A series of p-substituted N-phenylpyrroles, including 4-(1H-pyrrol-1-yl)phenol, 1-(4-methoxyphenyl)-1H-pyrrole, 1,1′-benzene-1,4-diylbis(1H-pyrrole), 1,1′-biphenyl-4,4′-diylbis(1H-pyrrole), and 1-(4-bromophenyl)-1H-pyrrole (I), was prepared by means of a modified Clauson-Kaas method. Over use of organophosphate pesticides including Chlorpyrifos (CPF) has led to contamination of soil and water resources, resulting in serious health problems in humans along with other non-target organisms. The current study was aimed to investigate Chlorpyrifos as well as 3, 5, 6-Trichloro-2-pyridinol (TCP) biodegradation tendency of bacterial strain Bacillus thuringiensis MB497 isolated from wheat/cotton fields of Dera Saleemabad, Mianwali, Pakistan, having a history of heavy Organophosphate pesticides application. HPLC anal. revealed almost 99% degradation of the spiked CPF (200 mg L-1) in M-9 broth, soil slurry and soil microcosm by MB497 after 9 days of incubation. Strain MB497 was also able to degrade and transform TCP (28 mg L-1), up to 90.57% after 72 h of incubation in M-9 broth. A novel compound Di-iso-Pr methanephosphonate along with known products of 3, 5, 6-Trichloro-2-pyridinol (TCP), Di-Et thiophospsphate and Phosphorothioic acid were detected as metabolites of CPF by GCMS anal. Three novel metabolites of TCP (p-Pr phenol, 2-Ethoxy-4, 4, 5, 5-tetramethyloxazoline and 3-(2, 4, 5-Trichlorophenoxy)-1-propyne) were identified after 72 h. Based on these metabolites, new/amended metabolic pathways for CPF and TCP degradation in these bacteria has been suggested.

OBJECTIVE: We evaluated the efficacy of electroacupuncture combined with tropisetron in treating carboprost tromethamine-induced nausea and vomiting during cesarean section under lumbar anesthesia. METHODS: A total of 264 patients aged 22-40 years were enrolled, who received carboprost tromethamine and suffered nausea and vomiting during cesarean section under lumbar anesthesia. The patients were divided randomly into the control group, electroacupuncture group, tropisetron group, and electroacupuncture + tropisetron group. RESULTS: Compared to the control group, the nausea and vomiting scores decreased at T3 in both the electroacupuncture and electroacupuncture + tropisetron groups, and decreased at T4 in the electroacupuncture group, tropisetron group, and electroacupuncture + tropisetron group; the motilin, gastrin, and 5-hydroxytryptamine (5-HT) levels decreased at T5 in the other 3 groups. Compared to the electroacupuncture + tropisetron group, the nausea and vomiting scores increased at T3 in the control and tropisetron groups, and increased at T4 in the other 3 groups; the motilin, gastrin, and 5-HT levels increased at T5. CONCLUSIONS: Our study suggested that electroacupuncture combined with tropisetron could effectively relieve carboprost tromethamine-induced nausea and vomiting during cesarean section under lumbar anesthesia. The effect was better than its single application, and the reduced 5-HT, motilin, and gastrin levels might be involved in the underlying mechanism.

A novel series of picarbutrazox-inspired oxadiazole hybrids I (R = 4-cyanophenyl, 3,5-dibromophenyl, 3,5-dichloro-4-(3-methoxyphenoxy)phenyl, etc.) was synthesized and the derivatives’ biol. activity against phytopathogenic fungi was investigated. The mols. were designed by retaining the active fragment of tetrazolyl phenyloxime ether of lead compound picarbutrazox, while introducing the potentially active oxadiazole-derived fragment I. Bioassay results revealed that some of the title compounds showed potent in vivo antifungal activities to control cucumber downy mildew. Therefore, this novel oxadiazole phenyloxadiazole derivative I can be used as a potential antifungal agent to control cucumber downy mildew and other phytopathogenic fungi for crop protection.

Objective: To investigate the effect of the combination of Ergometrine and Carboprost Tromethamine Injection in preventing postpartum hemorrhage in patients with scarred uterus re-cesarean section and its influence on glutathione peroxidase (GSH-px), superoxide dismutase (SOD), malondialdehyde (MDA) and postpartum lactation. Methods: A total of 92 patients with scarred uterus re-cesarean section in our hospital from Feb. 2018 to Apr. 2020 were selected as the research objects. They were divided into observation group and control group by simple randomization method, with 46 cases in each group. The control group was treated with Carboprost Tromethamine Injection to prevent postpartum hemorrhage, and the observation group was treated with Ergometrine combined with Carboprost Tromethamine Injection to prevent postpartum hemorrhage. The efficacy, postpartum hemorrhage, recovery, lactation, and adverse reactions, coagulation function indexes [activated partial thromboplastin time (APTT), prothrombin time (PT), fibrinogen (FIB), D-dimer (DD)], serum GSH-px, SOD, MDA levels before and 24 h after the operation of the two groups were compared. Results: After treatment, the total effective rate of the observation group was 93.48% higher than that of the control group 76.09% (P<0.05). The bleeding volume and rate of postpartum hemorrhage at 2 h and 24 h in the observation group were lower than those in the control group, the duration of lochia and hospital stay were shorter than those in the control group, and the uterine fundus declined faster than the control group (P<0.05). The levels of APTT, PT, FIB, DD, and serum MDA in the two groups aT24 h after surgery were lower than those before the operation, and the observation group was lower than the control group, and the serum GSH-px and SOD levels were higher than those before operation, and the observation group was higher than the control group (P<0.05). The lactation initiation time of the observation group was shorter than that of the control group, and the lactation volume scores of the 1 and 2 d postpartum were higher than those of the control group (P<0.05); there was no significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups (P>0.05). Conclusion: The combined application of Ergometrine and Carboprost Tromethamine Injection to prevent postpartum hemorrhage in patients with scarred uterus re-cesarean section can significantly improve the preventive effect, reduce postpartum hemorrhage, and promote the recovery of patients, improve coagulation function and lactation, reduce serum GSH-px, SOD, MDA levels, reduce oxidative stress, and have good safety.

Carboprost tromethamine is a synthetic prostaglandin derivative, which can effectively promote law contraction of the uterus and significantly reduce the amount of bleeding during and after delivery. In this study, we explored the effect of carboprost tromethamine on the prevention of postpartum hemorrhage after cesarean section and the effect on coagulation function and hemodynamics. At the same time, the effects of oxytocin and carboprost tromethamine were studied in different groups. The results showed that the amount of 2h bleeding (256.7 ± 65.21) mL and the amount of 24h hemorrhage (308.3 ± 78.3) after the operation were significantly decreased, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). After the operation, the levels of APTT, TT and Fib in the two groups were significantly lower than those before the operation. The levels of SBP (119.4 ± 8.24) mmHg and DBP (79.6 ± 6.21) mmHg in the exptl. group were significantly higher than those of the control group. In summary, carboprost tromethamine has a significant effect on the prevention of postpartum hemorrhage in cesarean section, and has a significant effect on improving the state of hypercoagulable blood and maintaining the stable hemodynamic state, which has clin. a value.
