On November 30, 2018, Guo, Heying; Sun, Yu; Niu, Xiaoying; Wei, Nannan; Pan, Congjie; Wang, Guoxiu; Zhang, Huige; Chen, Hongli; Yi, Tao; Chen, Xingguo published an article.Category: alcohols-buliding-blocks The title of the article was The preparation of poly-levodopa coated capillary column for capillary electrochromatography enantioseparation. And the article contained the following:

Levodopa (L-DOPA) is promising as chiral stationary phase for open tubular capillary electrochromatog. (OT-CEC) enantioseparation owing to its self-polymerization adhesive property and chiral recognition potential. In this work, CuSO4/H2O2 was used as a trigger agent to accelerate the polymerization process of L-DOPA and the poly-levodopa (poly-(L-DOPA)) coated column was successfully prepared for the first time by depositing it on the inner wall of fused silica capillary via the rapid and in-situ approach at room temperature The performance of the poly-(L-DOPA) coated capillary was validated by the separation of different chiral analytes, including chiral amine drugs, neurotransmitters and amino acids, and the good enantioseparation efficiencies were achieved. For five consecutive runs, the relative standard deviations (RSDs) for the migration time of the analytes for intra-day, inter-day and column-to-column were in the range of 0.19-1.33%, 0.96-4.47%, and 2.21-7.79%, resp. Addnl., the poly-(L-DOPA) coated capillary column could be successively used over 250 runs without observable change in the separation efficiency. The experimental process involved the reaction of H-Phg(4-OH)-OH(cas: 32462-30-9).Category: alcohols-buliding-blocks

The Article related to cereal vinegar metabolomics non target chem isotope, gc-ms, uhplc-qtof-ms, cereal vinegar, chemical isotope labeling, metabolomics, small peptides, Biochemical Methods: Chromatographic and other aspects.Name: 2,3-Dihydroxypropanoic acid

Li, Zhihua; Zhao, Chi; Dong, Ling; Huan, Yu; Yoshimoto, Miwa; Zhu, Yongqing; Tada, Ipputa; Wang, Xiaohang; Zhao, Shuang; Zhang, Fengju; Li, Liang; Arita, Masanori published an article in 2022, the title of the article was Comprehensive Metabolomic Comparison of Five Cereal Vinegars Using Non-Targeted and Chemical Isotope Labeling LC-MS Analysis.Name: 2,3-Dihydroxypropanoic acid And the article contains the following content:

Vinegar is used as an acidic condiment and preservative worldwide. In Asia, various black vinegars are made from different combinations of grains, such as Sichuan bran vinegar (SBV), Shanxi aged vinegar (SAV), Zhenjiang aromatic vinegar (ZAV), and Fujian Monascus vinegar (FMV) in China and Ehime black vinegar in Japan (JBV). Understanding the chem. compositions of different vinegars can provide information about nutritional values and the quality of the taste. This study investigated the vinegar metabolome using a combination of GC-MS, conventional LC-MS, and chem. isotope labeling LC-MS. Different types of vinegar contained different metabolites and concentrations Amino acids and organic acids were found to be the main components. Tetrahydroharman-3-carboxylic acid and harmalan were identified first in vinegar. Various diketopiperazines and linear dipeptides contributing to different taste effects were also detected first in vinegar. Dipeptides, 3-phenyllactic acid, and tyrosine were found to be potential metabolic markers for differentiating vinegars. The differently expressed pathway between Chinese and Japanese vinegar was tryptophan metabolism, while the main difference within Chinese vinegars was aminoacyl-tRNA biosynthesis metabolism These results not only give insights into the metabolites in famous types of cereal vinegar but also provide valuable knowledge for making vinegar with desirable health characteristics. The experimental process involved the reaction of 2,3-Dihydroxypropanoic acid(cas: 473-81-4).Name: 2,3-Dihydroxypropanoic acid

The Article related to self assembled monolayer au surface, Surface Chemistry and Colloids: Other and other aspects.Electric Literature of 143-10-2

On August 23, 2022, Tsvetanova, Martina; Syromyatnikov, Alexey G.; van der Meer, Thomas; van Houselt, Arie; Zandvliet, Harold J. W.; Klavsyuk, Andrey L.; Sotthewes, Kai published an article.Electric Literature of 143-10-2 The title of the article was Self-assembled decanethiolate monolayers on Au(001): Expanding family of known phases. And the article contained the following:

We have studied decanethiolate self-assembled monolayers on the Au(001) surface. Planar and striped phases, as well as disordered regions, have formed after exposing the Au surface to a decanethiol solution The planar phases that we observe have a hexagonal symmetry and have not been previously reported for thiols on the Au(001) surface and have lower coverage compared to that of the other known thiol planar phases such as the square α phase. The striped phases that we observe are similar to the previously reported β phase but still feature unit cells that cannot be modeled as the archetype, and the coverage is also somewhat lower. The disordered decanethiolate regions are more dynamic compared to the ordered phases, confirmed with I(t) spectroscopy. This suggests that in these regions the coverage is too low in order to form ordered decanethiolate phases. Our findings contribute to the growing family of possible decanethiol formations on the Au(001) surface, for which still less is known compared to the extensive overview present for the Au(111) surface. The experimental process involved the reaction of 1-Decanethiol(cas: 143-10-2).Electric Literature of 143-10-2

The Article related to bmnpv infection hemolymph oxidative phosphorylation gc ms, Nonmammalian Biochemistry: Metabolism and other aspects.Electric Literature of 32462-30-9

On August 31, 2022, Qian, Heying; Guo, Huimin; Zhang, Xiao; Liu, Mingzhu; Zhao, Guodong; Xu, Anying; Li, Gang published an article.Electric Literature of 32462-30-9 The title of the article was Metabolic characterization of hemolymph in Bombyx mori varieties after Bombyx mori nucleopolyhedrovirus infection by GC-MS-based metabolite profiling. And the article contained the following:

The “Huakang 2” silkworm variety, bred by the Sericulture Research Institute of the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences, is highly resistant to Bombyx mori nucleopolyhedrovirus (BmNPV) and effectively solves the issue of frequent Bombyx mori nuclear polyhedrosis in sericultural production The mol. mechanism of its resistance to BmNPV, however, is still unknown. The purpose of the present study was therefore to identify these anti-BmNPV mechanisms by using metabolomics in combination with transcriptomics after s.c. injection of budded virus (BV) with high concentrations of BmNPV from specimens of the Baiyu N variety (which is highly resistant to BmNPV) and the Baiyu variety (which is sensitive to BmNPV). A total of 375 differential metabolites were identified, which mainly included sugars, acids, amines, alcs., glycosides, and other small mols. KEGG enrichment anal. and functional clustering of differential metabolites identified possible metabolic pathways, including tyrosine metabolism, oxidative phosphorylation, and alanine, aspartate, and glutamate metabolism The differentially expressed genes (DEGs) identified by transcriptome anal. were annotated in KEGG. Association anal. showed that the metabolic pathways of different silkworm varieties are affected differently by BmNPV infection, triggering a series of complex physiol. and biochem. changes in the organism. In particular, oxidative phosphorylation might be an essential pathway involved in regulation of disease resistance. The experimental process involved the reaction of H-Phg(4-OH)-OH(cas: 32462-30-9).Electric Literature of 32462-30-9

The Article related to formaldehyde resistance bacteria survivor biocide metalworking fluid, oil water metalworking emulsion formaldehyde biocide bacterial fungal resistance, Agrochemical Bioregulators: Microbial and other aspects.Formula: C9H21N3O3

On December 31, 2001, Sondossi, M.; Rossmoore, H. W.; Williams, R. published an article.Formula: C9H21N3O3 The title of the article was Relative formaldehyde resistance among bacterial survivors of biocide-treated metalworking fluid. And the article contained the following:

Surviving Gram-neg. bacterial populations of a metalworking fluid, soluble-oil emulsion, exposed to a formaldehyde (FA)-based industrial biocide were isolated and identified. Resistance of isolates to FA and FA-based biocides was determined and significant differences were noted. The most resistant strain survived 25 mM FA when tested in tryptic soy broth. Attempts to induce greater resistance in less resistant isolates yielded mixed results. The FA-resistant isolates were shown to be cross-resistant to a number of FA-based biocides. Detoxification (removal) of FA by mixtures of FA-resistant and PA-sensitive organisms was a function of the level of resistant organism present. This may explain the varied resistance levels among isolates from a single system to FA. The results suggest that protection of susceptible strains by resistant organisms may occur under field conditions. On January 31, 2008, Davis, Mark D. P.; Scalf, Leigh Ann; Yiannias, James A.; Cheng, Janet F.; El-Azhary, Rokea A.; Rohlinger, Audrey L.; Farmer, Sara A.; Fett, Debra D.; Johnson, Janis S.; Linehan, Diane L. Nordberg; Richardson, Donna M.; Schroeter, Arnold L.; Connolly, Suzanne M. published an article.Formula: C9H21N3O3 The title of the article was Changing trends and allergens in the patch test standard series: a Mayo Clinic 5-year retrospective review, January 1, 2001, through December 31, 2005. And the article contained the following:

Objective: To present and interpret results of patch testing with the Mayo Clinic standard series over 5 years. Design: Retrospective study. A standardized patch testing technique was used. Data were recorded on a standardized computer program from Jan. 1, 2001, to Dec. 31, 2005, and analyzed. Setting: Tertiary referral center. Patients: Patients who were referred for patch testing. Intervention: Patch testing with the “standard series,” ie, a standard series of allergens used by most clinicians to identify the most common offending allergens in patients with allergic contact dermatitis. Main Outcome Measures: Number of patients patch tested, allergens used over this period, and rates of allergic patch test reactions to allergens. Results: A total of 3854 patients (mean age, 55.1 years; age range, 6.2-99.4 years; 2576 female [66.8%]) were tested. All dermatologists in the department performed patch testing. The mean number of allergens included was 69.3 (range, 6-87). There were 2664 patients with at least 1 pos. reaction (69.1%) and 1933 with 2 or more pos. reactions (50.2%). Metals, fragrances, topical antibiotics, preservatives, and individual allergens used in hair-care products, topical corticosteroids, glues, plastics, and rubber were still the most common allergen groups associated with allergic patch test reactions. Conclusions: We describe the structure of the patch testing service at our referral center. Ongoing anal. of our patch test reaction rates allows us to recommend broad, clin. relevant, and up-to-date allergens for testing.
